We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales efforts in the China and Southeast Asia (SEA) regionsThis role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the Chinese and SEA markets, as well as strong channel management skills. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategiesmanaging channel partners, and achieving regional revenue targetsThe successful candidate will also be responsible for the sales team in the APAC region.


  • Sales Execution:
    • Drive the sales team to achieve revenue and growth targets in APAC.
    • Monitor and analyse sales performance and take corrective actions as needed.
    • Coordinate sales activities and marketing efforts to maximize market penetration.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape in all countries across APAC.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and go-to-market plans for the region.
    • Identify and explore untapped markets and verticals within APAC for potential growth.
  • Channel Partner Management:
    • Maintain excellent customer relationships and resolve any issues promptly.
    • Identify, recruit, and onboard channel partners such as distributors, resellers, and integrators to expand market reach.
    • Develop strong relationships with existing and new channel partners, providing them with the necessary support, training, and resources to drive sales.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotions that resonate with the local channel customer base.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide training and support to channel partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and share knowledge with the team.
  • New Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, distributorships, and strategic alliances.
  • Sales Presentations:
    • Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our products/services.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of our products/services and keep updated with industry trends.
  • Customer Support:
    • Provide exceptional post-sale support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and resolving any issues.
  • Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular management reports.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust them, as necessary.
    • Weekly Regional APAC reporting back to the Sales Director EMEA & APAC. Contribute accurate regional data for the Management Business Review for Magicard's senior management team.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the sales budget for the region, optimizing resource allocation to achieve sales goals.
    • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure all sales activities and channel partnerships comply with local regulations and company policies.
    • Maintain records of sales contracts, agreements, and communications with channel partners.
  • CRM and Admin Management:  
    • Use the CRM system and apply a discipline to keep updates live.
    • Produce accurate forecasting and feedback from the opportunities.
  • Recruitment:
    • Responsible for recruiting and hiring team members, when approved by the business.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales channel management, preferably in the China and SEA markets.
  • Strong understanding of the cultural and business dynamics in China and Southeast Asia.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written), other SEA languages an advantage.
