JOB DESCRIPTION

Requirements

• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize stock-outs, reduce carrying costs
• Conduct regular inventory audits, reconciliations, and cycle counts to maintain its accuracy.
• Analyze demand patterns and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and develop strategies for its clearance or disposal.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory turnover and minimize excess stock.
• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound logistic activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Analyse transportation costs, lead times and service levels to identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluate existing logistic processes and systems, and propose enhancements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Implement best practices in logistic management, including route optimization, freight consolidation and inventory replenishment
• Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the warehouse and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage store personnel, including scheduling, training and performance evaluations.
• Maintain proper inventory levels in the store and coordinate with the inventory team to replenish stock as needed
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements and key performance indicators (KPI)
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.
• Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on analytical findings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the superior/manager/management
• Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyse productivity & develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
• Manage and lead the ERP system as the key user for the entire inventory management.
• In charge of stock take process - ensure accurate reporting of variance, investigation & analysis promptly.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Logistics/Warehouse or any Degree equivalent
• With working experience in warehouse and logistics of 5 years and above
• Proven experience in inventory management, logistics or store supervision roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage store personnel and motivate team members
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Possess knowledge and experience in ISO 9001
• Languages: Bahasa, English and Chinese
