Summary

The Facilities Managers are to ensure that an organization’s buildings are well-maintained and safe for employees and visitors. Facilities Managers are competent in many disciplines, from fire safety to negotiating contracts, and to minimize interruptions to the Operation for the Company and related entities established in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall services provided within the facility
• Create a suitable environment for the purpose and needs of the facility, such as an office , Mfg , warehouse and utility
• Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs
• Create a budget for various facility needs and expenses.
• Manage the maintenance of the building by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services as needed
• Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance
• Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped
• Develop energy-saving ideas and strategies that lead to more efficient operations
• Provide and control the environment for all the manufacturing areas to ensure the requirements are met for 10K and 100K Cleanroom
• Respond to emergencies or other urgent issues involving the facility.
• Compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO45001 requirements
• Coordinate facilities-related services and utilities such as building maintenance, fire protection system, sewerage, parking lots, lighting, power supply, air conditioning, ventilation, water supply, sanitation, CDA supply, exhaust suction, RODI, IETS, housekeeping and janitorial services most efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Respond to emergencies and turn off the incoming electrical supply in cases of electrical hazards potentially causing an explosion/fire.
