JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive credit assessment which includes financial statement analysis, financial forecast, customer’s profile, industry and market trend, transaction parameters review, etc.
• Process and interpret financial statements into “company”  internal form.
• Support with customer, industry and product research.
• Support with analysing of quantitative criteria, qualitative risks, industry outlook and compliance to internal credit policies.
• Engage regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Data input into SalesForce, SAP and accounting systems.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Assistance to credit manager and credit director.
• Monitoring/Preparing credit portfolio, exposure report, collection and ageing reports.
• Assistance with ad hoc tasks, reports, analysis and projects.
• Engaging with bankers and funders whenever required.
• Meeting customers or conduct site visits on a regular basis or whenever required.
• Provide feedback on potential process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit assessment function or similar role.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, financial ratios and corporate finance.
• Understanding of Asia economy, market, industry and trends.
• Good IT skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online research skills.
• Experience in using financial formulas (PV, FV, PMT, INT, etc).
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Fluency in Japanese or Thai would be an added advantage
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Details-oriented and highly organized.
