JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

As the Senior Manager, Warehouse and Logistics, you will be responsible for managing the company's logistics operations and ensuring that all products (incubation and finished goods) are stored and distributed efficiently. You will report to the General Manager of Malaysia and work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Logistics & Warehouse costs to be within budget. Including services procured for warehouse and logistics matters.
• Ensure Cost Per Carton and NSV are within budget or below 
• Ensure all Department KPIs are met including Service level for Distributors 95.5% & IKA 97.7%
• Ensure all department High-Risk Audits Points are minimized and compliant with the company’s SOP.
• Ensure compliance with SSB and any Government Regulatory matters in the scope of delivery and warehousing.
• Liaise with shipping lines, and clearance agents including online export applications to ensure that shipments are executed without any issues.
• Close coordination with Sales, QA and Credit Control to meet monthly Sales Targets.
• Ensure all stocks are made available for IKA requirements and avoid delivery penalties.
• Responsible for daily manpower assignment for the total logistics and warehouse operations to meet day-to-day operations requirements.
• Ensure smooth running of Incubation & finished goods warehouse day-to-day operations.
• To review ageing stocks for all stakeholders.
• To ensure priority of stock allocations is met during Out of Stock in terms of service level/cost per carton configurations.
• To provide a good service level to internal stakeholders.
• To monitor closely slow-moving & obsolete products to ensure no internal ageing stock write-off.
• To ensure internal write-off is within the department tolerance band.
• Liaise with Adjuster & Insurance Brokers & Finance on shipment damaged claim ex-Port Klang
• To conduct cost analyses for D&L activity periodically

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Able to interpret and analyze data
• Have a mindset to resolve issues and find solutions for the issues on hand
• Able to make competent judgement and recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and transportation.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and other logistics software tools.
• Familiar with shipping procedures and have contact with Government Agencies.
• Familiar with accounting or good in data crunching is preferred.
• Experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SAP/WMS and any BI Solution.
