JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

The incumbent will be reporting to an IT Manager, helping to ensure that company IT systems are operational and protected from threats. The incumbent will also work on the development of policies, practices and control guarding the organization against potential cyber threats. He/ she will aid in the IT operation to support endpoint security and network security-related works.

Responsibilities

• Manage and involve in the planning, design, system integration, deployment, assessing and mitigating of information security risks.
• Ensure all support/project deliverables are tracked, managed, and delivered according to SLA, timeline and project plan.
• Conduct Demo or POC (proof of concepts) to meet business requirements.
• Manage and monitor on the security and network notification and alerts or certain conditions that may require special attention to avoid impact on the network performance or business downtime.
• Lead and guide team members on technical deployment, troubleshooting and best practices.
• Perform various security assessments/root cause analyses at the network and application layer and take a key role in the development of processes and requirements for systems prior to their acceptance into production.
• Incident Reporting for any IT security-related incident and providing advice/solutions.
• Execute and handle all IT security Audit related tasks.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Any professional certifications pertaining to IT Security Management will be added advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ISO 27001 standards and any relevant standards. (Critical requirements)
• Experienced in working with a cross-functional team.
• Participate in 24x7 availability on-call standby support, as and when required.
• Knowledge of Firewall, IPS, Web Security, Email Security & etc. (Critical requirements)
• Possess your own vehicle and be willing to travel.
