JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Conduct analysis and assist in the evaluation of funding requirements including coordinating the implementation of activities related to financing/ refinancing/restructuring exercises to ensure effective financial management and optimal financial support in the areas of funding and corporate finance matters required within the Group as well as assist to coordinate the implementation of activities related to corporate exercise (such as acquisition/ divestment) within the Group.

Responsibilities

• To conduct analysis and assist in the evaluation of funding requirements and provide preliminary recommendations to superiors for subsequent activities in line with the approved budget and the established Group financing policy and long-term corporate goals and direction.
• Coordinate with the relevant parties (internal, bank/s and or advisors) for information or documents required to facilitate timely completion in respect of the emplacement of new facilities including any application related to financing/refinancing/restructuring.
• To assist in the monitoring of the fulfilment of conditions precedent (CP) required under the financing or any agreements pertaining to corporate exercise for timely completion.
• Coordinate and liaise with the respective parties to obtain responses to the queries from banks and/or advisors and relevant regulators (where applicable).
• To assist with the summary of loan covenants for the Group and monitor the covenants to ensure compliance.
• To coordinate, compile and consolidate information or responses required to be provided to Credit Rating Agencies for the review of the Group's credit rating as well as prepare supporting documentation for the interface with Credit Rating Agencies, including monitoring of Credit Rating Agencies' methodologies, financial projections and publication on the Group credit rating as well as rating action and provide impact analysis and recommendation to management in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with banks for renewals of existing facilities and, where relevant, liaise internally to obtain the information required by the banks to facilitate the renewal of the facility.
• To assist with the draft board paper/ letters/ slides relating to the financing/refinancing/restructuring exercises or other corporate exercises.

Requirements

1. Minimum Degree in Accounting or Finance or other relevant degrees. Preferably someone who has professional membership (MIA, CIMA ACCA, CPA, CFA)
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in corporate finance, feasibility or a similar field ( e.g. investment banking, business development with exposures in external financing).
