JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Pursue identified opportunities by establishing contact with target/potential partners, marketing the value proposition, and working directly to develop and execute a mutually beneficial partnership model.
- Visit the channel partners to understand the market pulse.
- Market Research and Planning
- Research and analyze industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest.
- Develop strategic plans to develop the identified market opportunities, including developing forecasting, budgets and implementation plans for projects.
- Present and validate opportunities/plans with senior management to refine and garner organizational support.
- Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate internal departments to resolve problems and ensuring partners receive high quality customer service to refine and improve their business model and partnership with The Client.
- Help in the roll out of industry campaigns by partners, driving partners to create their own marketing campaigns and mentoring partners’ sales / marketing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
- 5 to 8 years in a business development role or capacity.
- High commercial awareness and strategic mindset.
- Strong communication skills and networking ability.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Willing to travel extensively within Malaysia
