JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose 

Assist Manager and Head of Department in providing (1) timely and accurate financial analysis and management reports by managing various monthly reporting processes and (2) perform financial forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning, (3) assist in monthly closing and submission to region

Responsibilities

• Preparation of critical monthly management information i.e., assists the manager in the analysis of monthly trading results, by working hand in hand with the GL team and various functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support. 
• Assist Manager and Head of Department in ensuring the annual financial budgets and forecasts are prepared and to review Company performance against budget on a monthly basis, highlighting and analysing variances.
• Assist manager in preparing and timely presenting financial reporting in line with Group guidelines and company/local laws
• Identify and drive various process improvements, to ensure that the month-end closing timeline is met. May work with various functions.
• Participates in the development of long-range financial forecasts and related budgets, considering alternatives scenarios and economic prospects as appropriate 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of experience with the preparation/financial analysis of full sets of accounts (audit experience is preferred but not required)
• Able to work in a team environment. 
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, attention to details
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
• Can work with extreme pressure and flexible working hours
