JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Responsible for leading the financial planning process and providing strategic insights and forecasts to the senior management on the progress and effectiveness of the company's strategic plans and investments.

Responsibilities

• Managing the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning process
• Analysing actuals against budget/forecasts and the prior year
• Lead the process of periodic re-forecasts, ensuring risks and opportunities are highlighted
• Supporting decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance
• Support senior management and department heads with in-depth analysis of financial guidance on new business initiatives and corporate development opportunities
• Build strong and positive relationships with budget holders and provide the necessary assistance and professional advice to assist them with the financial aspects of their duties
• Leading and delivering on finance process transformation by identifying areas for improvement and streamlining.
• Performing ad hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision-making. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance is required
• Qualified Accountant with ACCA / CIMA or equivalent will be added advantage
• A Master’s degree in accounting finance is highly preferred 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business strategy and financial planning with progressive management experience
