JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
The Regional Category Manager – Communications is responsible for managing and effectively implementing marketing activities to boost business development in the region in line with regional and segment marketing plans and ensure good communication and coordination between regional Marketing and local teams in relation to marketing activities of assigned segment/concept/category. This position will be reporting to a Regional Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement appropriate marketing communication plans by having a solid understanding of needs related to the markets in the region and maintain good communication with all levels.
- Manage and understand the customer behaviours to gain insight into the region for the assigned Segment/Concept/Category.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication plans and activity by means of closed-loop analytics and other KPIs as per the regional marketing strategy.
- Maximise the positive impact of global initiatives by working closely with the regional management and communicating effectively with the local units
- Work closely with the regional segment/concept sales teams and offer market insights relevant to the region on global innovation projects
- Contribute to the growth, positioning, and profitability of the segment/concept/category portfolio by developing communication strategies, activities, and tools, at the regional level.
- Support the launch of new products at the regional level and work closely with the Marketing Communications and Regional Colour Managers to ensure the promotional mix meets sales objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 to 10 years of working experience in marketing communications.
- Preferably with managerial experience.
- Experience in Digital Communications and Public Relations will be preferred.
