JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Candidates should have prior experience in the CCTV/Access control or Security Systems industry in Malaysia. Ideally, they should have a background working for a Distributor/ System Integrator (SI)/ Vendor which has an extensive network of security System Integrators (SI) and installers in Malaysia for Physical security products, CCTV, VMS, Biometrics or Analytics-based products.

Responsibilities

  • Identify the right prospects
  • Generate quality leads (for a high win/close rate)
  • Explore different go-to-market models, e.g indirect sales
  • Build a pipeline of new business and upsell opportunities continuously
  • Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers
  • Develop and manage relationships with prospects
  • Demonstrate and sell value to key stakeholders
  • Manage pipeline health/shape & data accuracy
  • Close deals and meet quotas.
  • Build a strong SI team based on business development
  • Develop and implement long term business plans and tactical plans
  • Participate in GOV and private industry tenders and writing of the proposals, generating the required technical information for a tender.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing activities and events to maximize the pipeline.

Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the security/CCTV industry especially in Building Automation, access control and video analytics or AI Systems is an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of Sales/Channel/BDM experience in the above-mentioned product line
  • Have an existing potential client database and Possess influencing relations with consultant/End customers that will best satisfy their requirements
  • Strong understanding of the local market in biometrics or CCTV
  • Understand local market regulations and translates this into sales efforts
  • Excellent sales record
  • Able to match business needs to technology solutions and position them in competitive scenarios
  • Highly motivated, resourceful and independent worker who is proactive and customer-focused.
