JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Supporting the tender manager by reviewing and advising on the financial/commercial aspects of the tenders
• Participating in the drafting of and negotiation on contractual terms and conditions (clients, consortia, subcontractors, suppliers), risk reviews, contract structuring and negotiations, tax issues, cash flow analysis, assignment conditions, etc
• Ensures that quote calculations, cash-flow and exposure curves are prepared properly
• Preparing the Business Financial Execution Plan, consistent with internal, contractual and regulatory objectives
• Optimizing project cash flow and managing the currency risks, tax issues, financial reporting, accounting, and project financing requirements
• Coordination and preparation of regular project reviews and identifying risks, initiating risk mitigation actions, preparing estimates to complete, preparation of LC / Bank Guarantees / Insurance / Bonds / Project Management including receivables/payables/risk & contingency
• Promotes commercial awareness in the project team and provides commercial input to the project execution plan
• Responsible for balance sheet and project financials

Requirements

• Bachelor of degree in accounting, finance or economics, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience with 2-3 years of experience in external audit with medium size audit firms, 2 years of work experience as a certified project analyst recommended
• Finance and business control expert with process orientation
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to effectively adhere to strict deadlines
• Good communication and negotiation skills required, strong risk management skills
• Bachelor of degree in accounting, finance or economics, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of finance and accounting software (SAP, ProMis, RR dB), completion of Project Controller required training modules
