JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Optimizes inventory levels and project supply based on varying demand, level of forecast accuracy and safety stock levels. This role includes managing the monthly S&OP processes, utilizing data to help drive decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop supply / buy plans at the part level utilizing on-hand inventory, forecasts, lead-time and safety stock along with other market-related factors.
• Generates and discusses alternative scenarios on the supply plan for the S&OP process, with clearly listed assumptions and risk assessment on volume and costs.
• Actively share out progress on initiatives and proactively communicate supply issues and risk mitigation plans.
• Implement and maintain Inventory and Material Management Strategies for all Finished Goods by regular review and optimization of inventory parameters and levels (e.g., reorder point, safety stock, ABC categorization).
• Conduct regular business and performance reviews with Demand Planners, Marketing and OEM.
• MRP Report, Inventory Projection for Supplier’s Packaging Material Stock Level (PMSL) during finished goods transition or obsolete, and Supplier On Time in Full (OTIF).
• Work closely with the 3PL & OEMs to allocate daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory position in order to reduce transfer costs between warehouses, while ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution to cover demand.
• Monitor inventory level and delivery status with Demand Planners on a weekly basis, based on actual sales for best decision making on push-pull OEM’s purchase orders.
• Plan reworking tasks and schedules according to production demand. Monitor the execution of production plan, analyze and resolve any potential issues in a timely manner.
• Determine manpower, materials and finished good needed to cover production demand and ensure goods are produced on time for distribution.
• Plan for supply chain flexibility to address capability gaps and help mitigate supply chain risks.
• Develop a thorough cost-to-serve understanding, be able to make decisions that improve the profitability of those customers and products.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or other related courses
• Min 7-8 years of supply chain, demand & supply planning experience with a leadership role in the FMCG environment. Process improvement and system automation experience will be an added advantage.
• Independent with minimal supervision.
• Computer literate and advanced in Excel.
• Experience and knowledge in MRP planning systems (eg. SAP, Oracle).
• Meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Possess strong analytical and organization skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with people at all levels.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, a good team player and able to work independently.
