JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development of new store locations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenant coordinators and mall managers in all applicable forms and locations.
• Work closely with the local and regional contractors in the renovation of existing or development of new stores from project initiation to opening.
• Coordinate store layout improvements rollouts consisting of store configurations and/or upgrades of existing stores.
• Work closely with Visual Merchandisers in planning and implementing the ways retail stores display their merchandise for sale. 
• Assess customer traffic patterns and the attractiveness of various items for sale when planning the ways that new merchandise will be displayed on the sales floor, as well as a variety of other factors, including sales promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with Visual Merchandisers to ensure merchandise has the highest eye-catching potential base on different profiled buyers. For instance, arrange goods considered to be “impulse purchases” nearer to checkout counters and cashiers. 
• Work with the Sales & Marketing team to ensure marketing and sales promotions are set up in ways that attract attention and draw prospective consumers.
• Manage the project of a fashion design museum and build the stories for the foundation to include fashion meets art collaboration project 
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and project design. 
• Oversee the construction and completion of each location to ensure standards of quality are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• University degree, BA, MA in Architecture or Interior Design is preferred.
• Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
• Retail experience is required.
• Must have project management experience.
• Must have experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in dealing with contractors and mall operators.
• Strategic Thinking and great foresight.
• Must have good budgeting and general math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Must have a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and AutoCAD;
• Good understanding of design drawings and project documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter.
• Must be methodical, logical and organised. 
• Possess leadership quality 
• Able to work independently while still a team player with a strong commitment to department/company harmony.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.
