JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Responsible for cost estimation of all car parts and/or models. This includes Exterior/BIW/Interior/Chassis/E&E/Powertrain Accessory car parts.
- Set parts and design change cost targets for Exterior/BIW/Interior/Chassis/E&E/Powertrain Accessory car parts. Provide support to the purchaser through quotation analysis or negotiation support in order to meet the cost target.
- Provide should cost analysis of all Exterior/BIW/Interior/Chassis/E&E/Powertrain Accessory parts of all Company's models in order to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Gather cost-related data and information related to Exterior/BIW/Interior/Chassis/E&E/Powertrain Accessory in order to establish the database and cost models.
- Provide Value Analysis- and Value Engineering- (VAVE) related proposals for Exterior/BIW/Interior/Chassis/E&E/Powertrain Accessory parts of all models
- Implement cost benchmarking on competitor car models in order to identify cost reduction opportunities.
