JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Providing IT expertise to support the realization and design of the manufacturing processes for the Organization.
Responsibilities
- Working as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, document and validate requirements for changes to business processes, revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary, policies and information systems as well as ensuring testing requirements are met and documenting business requirements.
- Understanding of how to enhance standard SAP MM / IMWM functionalities.
- Creation of Business Blueprint and Functional Specifications.
- Responsible for designing new IT solutions, modifying, enhancing or adapting existing systems and integrating new features or improvements, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.
- Must have a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices.
- Working in close coordination with other functional teams to aid the overall project to achieve the tasks necessary to have the module available meeting business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master's Degree or relevant work experience
- Working in close coordination with other functional teams to aid the overall project to achieve the tasks necessary to have the module available meeting business requirements.
- Must have minimum 6+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 full life cycle implementation projects or Production support experience.
- Involved in the master data configurations and transactional data items like storage types, storage sections, storage bins, picking and put away areas, storage locations, plants, etc.
- Master the SAP ERP system, particularly with respect to warehouse, inventory and materials management.
- Good knowledge of procurement process including sub-contracting & consignments in integration with inventory management and warehouse management.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Charm and Service Now Ticketing tool is an added advantage.
- ABAP experience preferred.
- Worked on developing various labels for scanning barcodes and forms.
- Perform development testing and prepare test scripts for SAP Configuration updates.
- Co-ordination of testing with users.
