JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

  • This role will be responsible for:-
  • Supply chain management thru 3rd party Logistics provider
  • To lead SCM team to meet company objectives
  • Manage and administer the performance and operation of the SCM and Order Processing Team
  • Provide leadership to resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Ensure the workflow processes comply with the company ISO policies and local GDPMD regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Management

  • Recruitment of new headcount and replacement position.
  • To coach, mentor and develop direct reports in meeting company objectives.
  • Manage team members performance and their career development.
  • Formulate a strategic annual business plan.
  • Develop a mid-term plan and annual budgets.
  • Timely submission of monthly management reports.
  • To schedule a monthly meeting to review team members activities and follow-up on issues.
  • To chair Monthly Department Meeting and follow-up on the action items.
  • To follow-up and ensure customer complaints, CAPA and audit findings are closed within the timeline.
  • To coordinate and liaise with regional and headquarters on matters related to the supply chain.
  • Undertake other special assignments or related duties as may be specified by the management from time to time.

Supply Chain Management

  • Coordinate with 3rd Party Logistics Provider to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction through effective supply chain management and logistic administration.
  • To develop and implement an effective customer service administration system.
  • Support cost savings initiatives and inventory reduction projects.
  • Support Strategic Trade Control activities.
  • To establish and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Quality Procedures for SCM Department on a regular basis.
  • Generate KPI tracking report for SCM improvement.
  • As the key business process owner, provide input and support regional implementation project related to Supply Chain

Demand Planning

  • To review and finalise monthly forecast with Product Specialists.
  • To analyse and plan stock replenishment for internal procurement to ensure inventory level are optimal to maintain local customer satisfaction and within Company policy.
  • Work as primary contact with the Regional SCM team and establish a regular review with the local 3PL management to monitor their performance.
  • Evaluate the forecast and planning performance to determine the root cause and drive corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Analyse forecast variance to identify the root cause of forecast error and strategies to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Analysis of logistics cost and inventory reports for improvement.

Operations and Warehouse Management

  • To source for vendors and obtain quotations, examine bids and make awards, and develop specifications for new contracts in the area concerning SCM.
  • To liaise with manufacturers, distributors and forwarders for efficient supply, service and cost management.
  • To establish a system to measure the vendors' KPI performance.
  • Manage local warehouse operations with the assistant of the SCM Executive to ensure a high level of service to customers.
  • To liaise with internal and external parties on delivery and inventory issues and ensure achievement of KPIs.
  • To initiate stock count exercise when deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Logistic, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain or related working experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience in SAP ECC module operating environment and strong command in Microsoft Excel and Pivot Table.
