JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose

The Know Your Customer KYC Specialist is a fundamental operational role to ensure the Company's compliance with the statutory requirements. The candidate would be given a chance to work with multiple countries like Hong Kong, the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.

Responsibilities

  • The KYC Specialist is a key operational role in the KYC team. The role would assist in ensuring compliance with the group’s AML/CFT policies and procedures, which include the collection of client data and documentation and collaborating with the business units from multiple countries. Acknowledge receipt of client’s request/queries/correspondences within 1 business day and respond no later than 2 business days.
  • The candidate is required to review and verification of client data, liaise with the business unit to resolve any issues and Input client data and documentation into the KYC system.
  • The candidate would be trained to perform WorldCheck and Google screening and perform regular reviews on Tricor’s customers' details He /She is required to ensure strict adherence to internal policies/SOPs and ensure best practice & corporate governance and compliance along with statutory/regulatory requirements are followed.
  • From time to time, the candidate needs to ensure that all clients’ documents/records are always properly filed in the statutory records and proper housekeeping of clients’ records in the Tricor system.
  • The candidate would be given the opportunity to assist in completing remediation projects, any other tasks and ad hoc assigned activities assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • College or Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines e.g. Corporate Administration, Corporate Governance, Finance and Economics
  • Part ACAMS qualification/graduate preferred
  • Fresh graduate or with 1-year relevant working experience
  • Must possess good communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate MS Office
  • Able to work independently and be a good team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet submission deadlines with minimal advice.
  • Able to identify and demonstrate clear comprehension of customers and organizational needs.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Simplified Chinese.
  • Able to converse in Cantonese.
