JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and support the company’s cloud environments within the agreed SLAs to support the company’s global customers.
- Respond to support requests via tickets and collaboration tools within response time SLA’s.
- Troubleshoot performance degradation or loss of service as time-critical incidents.
- Building customer solutions, leveraging automation and delivery mechanisms for efficiency and scalability.
- Ownership of issues, including collaboration with other teams and escalations.
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members.
Requirements
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. Certification in AWS will be an added advantage.
- Junior Engineer: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role and familiarity with AWS.
- Senior Engineer: minimum of 5 years of experience and with a deep understanding of AWS Global Infrastructure and key services.
- Understanding of AWS products like AWS CloudWatch, AWS GuardDuty, EC2, RDS, ELB, AWS Config, CloudFront.
- Keen to work in an international environment and work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexible working attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
- Excellent English communication skills.
