Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in making quality & regulatory decisions that balance business and quality factors while ensuring consumer safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide timely and appropriate risk assessment;
• Provide leadership and technical support in the areas of Quality Management with an emphasis on customer requirements, continuous product quality, and productivity improvement;
• Provide leadership and have accountability for food safety and sanitary performance of mill as measured by internal and external (Corporate, regulatory, customer) audits;
• To ensure compliance of FSSC22200, HACCP, GMP, HALAL requirements, Good Laboratory Practice to meet the stringent quality expectation by customers and regulatory bodies.
• Lead all aspects of Quality, Food Safety, Regulatory and Sanitation within the mill;
• Lead the product quality programs for the facility, including maintaining an appropriate lab and analytical capability, performing and troubleshooting analytical and physical quality checks;
• Deliver on all core tactical accountabilities of Food System Quality Management: maintain a balanced budget, manage the lab, address personnel issues, ensure a safe & positive work environment, and manage Food Safety Quality/Sanitation contractors;
• Manage issues with non-conforming products to assure proper control, minimize losses and provide analysis to eliminate future occurrences.;
• Responsible for managing the overall customer management process, provide constructive feedback and formulate professional responses towards customer complaints;
• Provide relevant training on quality systems and programmes to ensure compliance with all quality processes/ procedures;
• Result-oriented to achieve financial forecasts for projected capital and department budget expenditure which meet to departmental targets including developing of quality management system in achieving company’s financial budget and business plans;
• Ensuring that all security, safety and health aspects including its rules and regulations are well enforced and adhered to at all time;
• To perform and discharge promptly and efficiently any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by immediate superior.
