JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
The Sr. ABAP developer will provide support to the global SAP team as part of a newly formed team of SAP Business Analysts and Developers in our Malaysia facility.
You should have a wide view of SAP ABAP coding as well as a strong knowledge of the integration of multiple other applications into and from SAP ECC.
- Provide global support to Business Analysts for all aspects of the systems functional areas.
- Mentor junior team members
- Take responsibility for support tickets from creation through to resolution
- Identify opportunities for additional projects and enhancements and coding efficiencies
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with the US team members on initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 ABAP development
- Ability to demonstrate good documentation skills along with the ability to communicate problems quickly and concisely
- Experience with working within a matrix organization / Conduct tasks remotely / Global support experience
- Fluency in English and good communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain/related discipline or Information Systems
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
