JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Work with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to develop Continuous Improvement strategies that directly support operational goals.
- Develop and lead continuous improvement projects, working cross-functionally to implement changes that deliver savings across the business.
- To provide leadership, coaching, and training to project teams on the use and practice of Lean methodologies and tools.
- Utilize Lean principles and Best Practices to establish new work standards for Machines, Processes, and People, to generate productivity savings, improve quality, improve OTD, and others.
- To provide support to project team members when required.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or a similar OpEx capacity in the manufacturing field.
- Understanding of lean principles and root cause analysis (DMAIC, 8 step problem solving).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft and other analytical software packages.
- Working experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
