JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Reporting to the Dev-Ops Manager, the Front End Developer plays a key role on the Marketing Operations department. It is someone enthusiastic and technical with the knowledge to Develop high quality and maintainable solutions. The Front End Developer should be able to translate marketing needs into web solutions – onsite improvement, web-based applications, etc.… The Front End Developer will be part of a fast-moving team with fascinating projects and global exposure.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern web solution for desktop and mobile
- Ensure these web solutions are high quality, user-friendly, maintainable, secure and scalable
- Maintain website optimization with specialists and x-regional counterparts
- Create project and custom user documentation around your solutions including functional design specifications
- Liaison between the individuals and departments relative to your work
- Perform QA test, troubleshooting, and debug applications
- Follow up with all emerging technologies relative to your work
- Willingness to share acquired and new knowledge with other front-end developers
Requirements
- Experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and PHP
- Knowledge of Drupal, jQuery, Node.js, Angular.js and Require.js would be considered an asset
- Basic understanding of relational database concepts
- Passionate about building cutting-edge, high-quality applications
- Quick learner, Creative thinker, Researcher, Deliverer
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
