JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities 

• Provide technical leadership and key decision making 
• Own and a key driver of Financial Yield Improvement and Value Creation 
• Oversee Process and Equipment Engineering teams 
• Identify and escalate risk factors that could impact the operations 
• Drive continuous process, yield & quality improvement 
• Evaluate, and qualify new materials, designs and processes as required for process improvement and cost reduction projects 
• Conduct capability studies of processes, manufacturing equipment and tools to meet customers’ requirement 
• Provide leadership on customer return units and derive corrective and preventive measures 
• Controls process-related document including manufacturing specification, FMEA, Control plans and OCAP  Provide technical support to customers when required 
• Train, coach and guide engineering, technicians and operators as required 
• Any other job responsibilities assigned by the management as and when required 

Requirements 

• Applicant should possess a Degree in an Engineering discipline or Applied Science 
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing process environment 
• Knowledge in project management including the stage-gate process is required 
• Experience in either die bond, wire bond, jetting or SMT is an added advantage 
• Able to work with all levels of people with good communication skills 
• Independent with initiative, good analytical skill and ability to work under minimum supervision 
• Required skills: knowledge of CP, FMEA, OCAP, SPC, and 8D Problem Solving Reporting Method 
• Applicants with MiniTab, 6 Sigma, DOE and ESD knowledge is an added advantage
