JOB DESCRIPTION
Mission
To assume the prime responsibility for the business development of Service Business Motors and Generator in the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Motors and Generator business plan and sales activities to increase sales in the allocated region
- Update market intelligence (customers’ structure and knowledge, potential, opportunities, competition, price levels, macro- and micro-economics ... etc.)
- Use tools to track and monitor project opportunities (project lists, the volume of offers, won-lost analysis, provide feedback of offers to the BU, etc.)
- Feedback on portfolio gaps and future customer needs to support R&D processes
- Participate in the demand side budgeting process
- Understand customer needs and identify opportunities
- Promote and sell the RM portfolio of products and services to identified Customers in defined geographical areas or customer segments
- Plan sales activities to develop and increase sales opportunities and probabilities with key customers and key projects.
- Track and monitor quotations (volume of offers, won-lost analysis, provide feedback of offers to the BU, price-analysis per customer and product, update ProSales etc.)
- Ensure customer satisfaction during/after deliveries (NPS)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic or equivalent). Preferably 2-3 years working experience in a related field for Service Motors and Generator business.
- Must be a self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team.
- Pleasant personality with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (other languages will be a plus)
- Independent, result-oriented, self-driven, resourceful, organized are desirable attributes
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Team player but able to carry out tasks with minimum supervision.
Added Advantage
- Experience in the sales of Motors and Generator
- Experience in selling to the Chemicals, Oil and Gas, Power or General Industries.
- Experience in selling to the OEM channel
- Experience in the sales of Rotating Machines (Pumps or Compressors)
