JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain idsMED software applications to help achieve business goals.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget.
- Lead and train IT team to manage projects and support requests, including review, assessment and assignment of tasks to appropriate IT team members, and monitor progress to resolution.
- Reduce time on support through user training and prevention.
- Determine functional requirements by gathering information from business departments; analyze and translate them into documented requirements and design specifications.
- Work with Country IT to design new technological solution by constructing process maps, defining data capturing mechanisms, incorporating system functionalities that provide end to end business solution.
- Identify continuous improvement projects that improve system performance, reduce cycle time, eliminate errors and reduce cost.
- Manage projects by using idsMED Project Management Methodology to increase project success rates.
- Liaise with local consultants for country localization development, maintenance and support.
- Provide references for users by writing and maintaining creative user documentation.
- Accountable for compliance of IT security and control standards.
- Any other tasks as deemed required by immediate superior or management.
Work Experience & Qualification
- Candidates must possess at least a Degree/Master in IT or related disciplines.
- At least 10-13 years of experience in IT.
- In-depth exposure in enterprise applications.
- Good exposure to mobility platforms.
- Able to travel overseas when required.
Competencies
- Knowledge in common IT hardware and software platforms.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX and/or CRM systems.
- Strong data analyst to clearly define and document common issues.
- Strong project management.
- Strong process mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate relevant IT-related information to superiors and peers in other practices and tactfully communicate sensitive information.
- Spoken and written English essential; other Asian languages advantageous.
