JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
Lead and act as the custodian of the mid and long-term strategy and architecture for tools and supporting systems, inclusive of CEM, for U Mobile network.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and own the 3-year, 5-year network strategy and architecture for OSS and CEM solutions.
- Develop the tools requirement, the strategy and efficient operating model in NFV architecture
- Lead the yearly CAPEX planning for network tools, including OSS, CEM.
- Translation of business requirements & drivers to technical requirements for OSS and CEM.
- Custodian for the governance of OSS strategy and roadmap.
Key Experiences and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience in network tools and OSS systems.
- Strong understanding of mobile network tools & architecture – CEM solution and platform, tools support & requirement for NFV, OSS for RAN, Transport and Core Network
- Strong knowledge in network analytics, process automation and data management.
- Strong technical and business acumen.
- Knowledge and experience in the industry’s best practices and framework (eTOM, TAM)
- Experience in network element cost analysis, AOP Capex planning, developing a network planning/costing model.
- Good critical thinking and attentive to details.
- Knowledge in programming and macro.
