System Analyst/Programmer
Based in Juru Autocity, Penang, Malaysia

Responsibilities:
- Interact with IT team members and the corporate planning and Asia Planning teams to facilitate modeling and process improvements and implement complex solutions.
- Involve in software development in Business Objects Data Integrator, PL/SQL, TCL scripting, .Net and Oracle.
- Troubleshoot problems related to the application system.
- Support the day-to-day Asia planning organization.
- Provide key data analysis through the use of process understanding of key data from a variety of sources.
- Serve the business in its overall goals of meeting factory and customer requirements.
Tasks
- Involve in the entire planning arena including forecasting, master production schedule, factory planning, order scheduling, and order fulfillment.
- Create and modify systems which are required by the planner.
- Analyze systems to improve business process.
- Write application system to support and automate user business process.
- Provide the Asia planning team with more automated tools and solutions.
- Perform ad-hoc support related to work as and when required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent with 4-5 years of working experience.
- Experience in the use of data extraction and analysis software tools
- Understand the importance of data governance and change management.
- Possess an understanding of and experience in ERP, planning, and scheduling systems.
- Experience in a variety of software tools such as Microsoft Office, structured query languages, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.
- Well-versed with manufacturing systems.
- Ability to communicate with end-users for requirements gathering.
- Strong logical thinking skills in integrating user requirements.
