JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities
·The candidate will be responsible for the process of development of converting process to improve quality, cost effectiveness, throughput and performance
·The process development includes developing and defining used materials, setting process parameters, quality assurance as well as the definition of the process output
·To identify opportunities for equipment and process improvements to drive continuous quality improvement and cost-savings
·To work with the Operation Departments and other engineers to explore the feasibility of implementation.
·To assist in the converting technology development.
·To participate in investment projects related to converting
·To define, evaluate and qualify new product designs
·To plan and execute the qualification of new products
Job Requirements
·Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical or others) or equivalent.
·Minimum 5 years of working experience in a suitable industry (converting, printing, lamination or material manufacturing for the related process.)
·Possess professional knowledge in quality techniques (such as Sig Sigma Tools), deep process specific knowhow (film and fiber-based web materials, inks and adhesives, lamination, printing, die cutting, slitting, labels and ticket applications).
·Good data analysis (Excel, Minitab) and reporting skills.
