JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will work as part of a corporate CAD team in Penang, Malaysia to develop PDK (Process Design Kit), DRC (Design Rule Check) and LVS (Layout Versus Schematic) rules decks.
The role is required to work closely with the worldwide CAD, design and layout team for design automation solutions. Other duties include developing and testing new tools and enhancing existing tools.
Requirements
· BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
· At least 5 years of related working experience in engineering software development, analog or digital circuit designs, or computer programming is required.
· Experience in Cadence PDK development or design automation solutions using Cadence SKILL will be an added advantage.
· Knowledge or experience in DRC and LVS, as well as the physical implementation flows will be an added advantage.
· Strong programming knowledge in Ruby, Perl, C-shell, TCL/TK and other software languages.
· Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
