JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather, lead, manage and document user requirements (Business Blueprint), transform requirement to solution, functional specification or technical specification to support Retail Industry business.
- Per the SAP Methodology, follow the implementation and/or development lifecycle process. Most importantly identify gaps to improve business/system processes and user system experience.
- Provide solution based on best practice and advise business of the overall process change in flow and the benefits. Obtain acceptance and document the signoff.
- Perform actual system configuration (functional or technical). Provide functional support during implementation and post implementation including manage issue closure within SLA.
- Involve in the IRIS Project to continue at Data Migration stage for Go Live readiness.
- Involve in the Project Go Live preparation which includes data conversion, mapping, completeness, reconciliation, validation and signoff. It also include configuration checklist, pre-requisite Cutover checklist and the overall N2N interworking with other modules and systems.
- When required, conduct Testing which involves Unit Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, Load Test and Rehearsal Test.
- Conduct Training to business users and internal team, create/update user manual, prepare data for training environment and ensure level of understanding.
- Perform post implementation and stabilization of the implemented system/solution, which includes problem fixes and identification of root cause analysis for a permanent fix.
- Manage and lead the team. Mentor and share SAP subject matter knowledge to internal team.
- Lead in the Problem Management support process as the SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) and impact cut across module within SAP and BI for reporting accuracy. Roles includes troubleshooting, fixing and updating issue raised thru logged case or other channel, within the agreed KPI and SLA; timely, accurate, validate, close case, report status and etc.
- Lead of the SAP Level 2 Support team, monitor the raised cases statistics, fulfilment/closure, trend, KPI and SLA closely to ensure timeliness of assignment and resolution, root cause detection and close communication with Helpdesk team.
- Lead Change Request Management (CR) process of own support areas, by proposing/delivering system solution, SAP configuration, documentation, business process, design document, development specification, training, test environment setup, testing, UAT, deployment support and/or propose strategy or roll out method for the N2N life cycle implementation.
- Ensure compliance in all internal and external dealings with internal customers, partners and regulators. Response timely to any Audit and Regulatory requirement request, from internal or external parties.
- Work closely and manage external consultants and 3rd party vendors to ensure meeting end to end objectives, timeline and in good quality for realization within SAP or across systems.
- Provide progress updates and status report to Reporting manager or on request.
- Any other IT relevant work assignment by Reporting manager.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
- Knowledge of system development life cycle, preferably SAP implementation methodology (ASAP).
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years working experience with specialization in respective module and implementation.
- Good experience and exposure to rest of SAP modules especially in the tight integration with financial posting and logistics business process.
- Preferable experience in supporting Retail industry.
