JOB DESCRIPTION
Objective
Act as a sparring partner to the FINANCE DIRECTOR and the business, offering business-oriented insights, which provide robust challenge and add value to support commercial decision making. A recognized leader, influencing within and beyond her/his own field of expertise. Responsible for the development of the financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities and Tasks
List out the key accountabilities and major challenges in carrying out this job.
1. Ability to Create and Modify Financial Models
• Profitability analysis of new business, revenue improvement, and cost saving opportunities
• Prepare various Ad hoc financial and / or complex business analysis
• Review and interpretation of Trend Analysis
2. Functional Reporting
• Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop strategic business plans for the company (MYFP).
• Coordinate the budget exercise and act as the owner of the budget financial statements.
• Support Regional P&L management by creating and maintaining financial reporting
• Financial Planning, Monitoring and Business Decisions with Regional Functional Management
• Assist Managers and Cost Center Owners to help them understand financials, spending and control budgets
• Perform cost and profitability analysis (cost to deliver and margin) on reported financials, propose corrective actions and follow up
• Prepare Responses and Detailed investigations on key action items for internal and external requests
3. Financial Statement Review and Reporting
• Prepare Month-end Reporting Package and drive additional methods of tracking performance
• Enhance the impact of Regional Controlling to support business planning, management reporting and decision-making
4. Perform Regional Sales Analysis as well as detailed customer profitability
5. Support the capex follow-up control exercise lead by the technical group versus the project budget
6. Prepare the financial evaluation of capex investment cases
7. Responsible for the performance and development of direct reports (preparing his succession)

Required experience
Bachelor’s Degree in
1. Accounting or Finance
2. Business with major in Finance
