JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a rapidly growing Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing company based in Singapore and with a presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & Hong Kong. Their solutions are based on new generation of business intelligence, analysis and reporting software that are extremely powerful yet intuitive to use, and is significantly faster to implement than traditional OLAP-based BI solutions. They are also a provider of innovative tools for Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting (BP & FR). It consolidates and integrates information to help produce more accurate budgets and perform what-if scenario analysis.

It’s growing rapidly through implementing our solutions at mid and large sized companies and its clients in the region, numbering more than 400, are drawn from the Banking, Insurance, Securities, Retail, Healthcare, Government and the Manufacturing and Distribution sector.

Its Malaysia operations started in 2006 and services more than 75 clients in the country with a very experienced consulting and delivery team.

The candidate will be responsible for sales and business development within the country. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets and reports directly to the Director.

Roles & Responsibilities

 Agreeing annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan as well as monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash.

 Develop lasting relationships with new and existing customer in order to maximize revenues for the company.

 Prepare detailed proposals that include software, and services in order to meet or exceed sales and revenues objectives.

 Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals.

 Create effective lead generation and marketing programs to identify new markets and prospects.

 Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.

 Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.

 Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.

 Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

 Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.

 Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information.

Requirements

 Should posess a high level of maturity and leadership qualities.

 Should have work experience from a leading software solutions company.

 Have a successful track record of selling business intelligence software and/or enterprise applications such as ERP, Business Intelligence, or other business solutions.

 Be comfortable working in complex business environments, which includes obtaining buy-in from both VP/CxO-level business managers and IT staff.

 Have over 10 years of relevant sales experience; demonstrate previous success in closing opportunities and exceeding quotas

 The ability to work independently in a complex and changing environment

 Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

 A network of existing contacts in but not limited to the Financial, Retail, Manufacturing & Distribution sector.
