JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB PURPOSE

Formulate, manage, co-ordinate, implement and assist HOD in leading and driving the strategic plans & framework of the Organisation in line with the business objectives, maximising asset performance whilst safeguarding stakeholders’ interest and risks.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Evaluate and review feasibility studies for proposed commercial developments to determine the viability of the proposed project.

Strategize, manage or lead internal valuations for land as well as other properties in determining the Market Value of the property to update management.

Identify, research and study potential land for consideration to purchase to increase the company’s land bank and/or for future development 

Manage the preparation of the Annual Business Plan by engaging with relevant departments, collate necessary information and update accordingly so that the ABP is always in line with the company 5-, 10- or 15-year business strategy.

Manage business partners or any governing bodies by constantly maintain good working relationship so that any issue is tackled and solve in an agreed timeline/period so that the projects/deliverables are delivered on time.

Lead in discussions pertaining business agreements with vendors by focusing on industry standard/practice and ensuring that the agreement is in accordance to the approved limit/standard by the Management

Undertake and negotiate the terms for commercial proposal with potential business partners/investors and put forth the recommendations to the Management.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE 

Qualification

Degree in Business Administration from a recognised university

Experience

10-15 years of experience in business development & feasibility studies, preferably with experience in property development
