JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB PURPOSE
Preservation and enhancement of the overall security aspects of a Group of Companies with assets comprising Iconic Landmarks in KL through the optimisation of cost and resources in compliance with quality and statutory requirements within the framework of standard operating procedures and key performance standards to ensure the asset values are upheld.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop security strategy to ensure reliability and sustainability of security function in accordance with key performance standards and standard operating procedures.
Formulate, implement and continuously review all related security procedures for an effective and efficient security operation within the Iconic Landmark in KL.
Coordinate the security functions with Local Authorities and other Facility Security Heads within the Iconic Landmark in KL and address/mitigate problems with regard to any security issues involving more than one (1) Facility.
Manage the perimeter security of the Iconic Landmark in KL using the out-sourced security force and develop security strategy in addressing any security threats.
Represent the company in dealing with Local Authorities, Parent Company, event organisers and other organisations pertaining to security issues during events, functions, criminal matters, crime prevention and etc.
Manage the overall procurement activities to ensure compliance with Group Tender and Procurement Department guidelines and timely execution of procurement exercise.
Adherence to the group Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) in all Operations and Maintenance activities.
Develop staff skills/capabilities and competencies ensuring capability gaps are reduced and closed contributing to enhancing staff performance and develop initiatives to ensure staff demonstrate positive mindset change.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Qualification
Degree in any discipline.
Experience
Minimum 10 years in Police/Security Forces/Special Branch
