JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

We are looking for a high-performing sales leader to undertake account management responsibilities and supervise a team of Account Managers. An effective sales leader has great aptitude in building and maintaining customer relationships. They also possess excellent planning and leadership abilities to coordinate and advise account managers and relevant stakeholders.

You will help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping Maxis competitive and innovative. The goal is to ensure the retention of clientele and facilitate further growth.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a team of Mid Market Account Managers
  • Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of account managers
  • Strong Funnel Management for Account team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that broadens account coverage and ensure the company's strong presence
  • Understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships to gather market insights and build industry intelligence
  • Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Developing your account team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education
  • Ensure pipeline in CRM is diligently updated by the team – consistently putting new opportunities week on week AND progressing the opportunity sales motion from creation to closing.
  • Manage Account plans for all assigned customers.
  • Collaborate with the Regional HOS channel team to grow customer wallet share.
  • Manage and drive every opportunity to closure with a clear plan with the sales team
  • Working closely with the product team to identify segments of customers to grow new revenue

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • Relevant years of work experience in sales, management, and key account management
  • People management skills is an advantage
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into an execution strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
