Summary

As an Audit Manager, you will lead and manage the engagement team on audit assignments for diverse clients across various industries. You will oversee the audit process, maintain client relationships, and guide a team of auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality audit services.

You are expected to guide and mentor junior team members on their personal growth and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits per regulations, developing effective audit strategies and risk assessments aligned with BDO’s policies
• Prepare and review audit reports for accuracy and clarity, presenting findings to both clients and management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Foster a positive learning environment by coaching and mentoring junior team members to support their personal and professional development

Requirements

• Experience and Education:
• More than 6 years of working experience preferably in a professional services environment
• At least 1 year of experience in leading and managing teams
• A recognized degree in Accounting or equivalent with a Professional Accounting qualification and/or membership in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants
• Other skills:
• Possess strong people management, interpersonal, communication and networking skills
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Strong client service orientation
• Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent command of English
