JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
As the COO, you will be responsible for the company’s P&L, optimising operational efficiency, and implementing effective systems, processes and procedures so that the Company can achieve its Mission of providing the most professional 360 support on setting up manufacturing plants in South East Asia.
- You will be responsible for growing the business from Key Accounts and Clients ensuring the Company achieve its Sales and Revenue.
- You will be responsible for building a harmonic work culture, high-performance teams and an engaged workforce.
- You will also be responsible for the Company’s adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance so as not to put the Company at any risks
- Company Strategic Direction and Implementation
- Develop Company’s 1-3 year plans with business objectives aligned with the financial outcomes
- Ensure the 1-3 years business plans are executed according to timelines and targets
- Business Growth and Retention
- Drive more sales and revenue by developing deeper relationships with key clients and accounts.
- Develop more sales opportunities with key clients and accounts
- Develop programs to create “customer stickiness” in the Company
- Company’s Financial Excellence
- Work with the CFO to ensure the Company is financially stable with Key financial numbers and targets achieved MOM, YOY.
- Company’s Operational Excellence
- Execute operational excellence in all aspects of the business to achieve financial outcomes
- Ensure Business systems, processes and procedures are in place
- Ensure the Company adheres to Statutory and Regulatory controls and compliance mitigating enterprise risks
- Implement customer-centric strategies to ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop high-performance teams
- Build strong teams through leadership by example, fostering a positive high-performance work culture among the current team members
- Build a cohesive workforce by enhancing communication channels and driving change to keep abreast of the Industry changes
- Build a competent workforce with well-equipped skills and up-to-date industry knowledge
- Use digital and other technology tools to enable change management
- Drive Company-wide HR transformation with key stakeholders
- Holds a Bachelor or Master’s Degree preferably in Civil or M&E Engineering
- Professional certification in project management especially in the EPC or Industrial Construction domains
- Has at least 10 years of experience in leading and managing construction of manufacturing plants
- Has a track record of managing a business entity , company or companies
- Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Good to fluently speak Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
