JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Develop and verify the product costing model
- Drive operational data collection and costing project activities.
- Report timely variance analysis and action plan to address the variance gap.
- Conduct project review with Cost Centre Managers to report cost and benefit analysis by product, and cost control activities.
- Initiate realignment and improvement in the accounting system and inventory procedures to support the costing project.
- Handle inventory cost review.
- Prepare and review capital investment to assess the payback period and NPV
- Carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by Superior/ Management.
Requirements
- Degree in Cost Accounting/Accountancy or professional qualification in ACCA/CIMA/MACPA/CPA
- At least 3 years of working experience in costing in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems, cost accounting and manufacturing operations/process
- Business-focused, meticulous, proactive, analytical and independent
