The BDM for SEA Japanese Business will be responsible for growing existing accounts and developing new businesses in various fast-growing Japanese industries in SEA (i.e. Tech/HiTech, O&G, Engineering/Construction, and Manufacturing sectors). She/he will be required to develop a sales strategy and action plan to achieve sales & business targets for new and existing businesses.


  • Driving growth for the given Industry Segment in SEA.
  • Business Development: Build exceptional relationships with existing customers and active prospecting of new clients to expand customer base and achieve revenue targets.
  • Cooperating with other departments and regions to succeed in working out the daily operations
  • Expanding the Sales results through extensive use of CRM (customer database management, sales visits and calls)


  • Native Japanese speakers or highly fluent in formal Japanese (Keigo).
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sales & Marketing, or its equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience is required in B2B and/or service industry.
  • Capable of working with or directing technical experts.
  • International assignment/exposure (study or work) is a plus.
  • Strong Sales consultative approach with a proven track record in business development activities, selling complex B2B solutions to multinational companies in a fast-moving, global environment.
  • Strong selling solution business knowledge, preferably in B2B services sectors.
  • Results driven with a high passion, drive and motivation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Networking skills. Ability to collaborate, cooperate and communicate effectively within a demanding, culturally diverse, and matrix organization.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate and react to frequently changing business climate
  • Excellent communication skills; able to deliver client presentations with ease and flair.
  • Persuasive, articulate and able to work with and influence people at all levels, nationalities, and personalities.
  • International exposure and mindset combined with cultural sensitivity and effectiveness in a multicultural environment.
