Job Summary :
To develop business in the area of Hospitality Equipment and eventually taking up Sales responsibility in this new Business Line
Job Responsibility
- Search and develop potential clients in relationship to hospitality business
- Grow and develop the Business Line , Hospitality Equipment
- To call on regular and potential customers to understand their operations, relationship building, and liaise with Global BD team in making an offer for the equipment or project
- Ability to connect with the customer, knowing the customers’ operations, and build partnership relationships is the key to success for this role.
- Offer sales proposal to the customers’ requirements, and identifying new requirements that can be taken up.
- Prepare and report projected sales and margin when required.
- Quotes prices, delivery and commercial terms for sales opportunities obtained in accordance with the company policy
- Uses as a daily discipline the company’s Sales Force system to update the sales activities, sales leads, and opportunities.
- Ability to communicate with Client and customers to understand operations and investment plans.
- Good business sense, and ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong business acumen
- Responsible for the business development of the hospitality business line.
- Ability to grow and develop the new clients into a profitable business.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of hospitality industries.
- Experience as a chef in a well-established professional kitchen
- Passionate about food and cooking
- Strong selling and relationship-building skills paired with the ability to convince others including presentation skills
- Sensitive to numbers and trade, Project proposal / Technical evaluation capability.
- Business Development and / or Sales experience into Hospitality industries in Malaysia
- Technical Diploma: Preferred a person from a culinary school with interest in business and sales / work experience as a chef with interest in business and sales.
- Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working
- Experience in Malaysia is essential and you are ideally based in Malaysia
- Excellent English skills and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese dialects is an advantage
- Computer literate
