Responsibilities

• IT Strategy Planning 
• Work with APAC Regional office on business policy & direction, prepare IT strategy roadmap to support business strategy, includes working with stakeholders to define & quantify business benefits 
• Provide leadership for the Service and operation function together with functional Heads to realise service levels and satisfaction of IT solutions
• Ability to work and manage business stakeholders in the country to align with business direction and meet business goals
• IT Delivery and Operation Management 
• Lead the country operation team to ensure good service outcomes and satisfied customers
• Continuously streamline and create opportunity for operation improvement and manage costs within business plan
• Collaborate with regional operation team to achieve best outcomes for the customers
• Meet all KPIs set service delivery for the team 
• Project Management 
• Collaborate with Apac team on projects delivery in the country 
• Plan and manage local projects with business independently with local resources
• Resource management 
• Plan and staff resources required for operation and projects related to Malaysia
• Develop Career plans for staff and grow expertise for the company
• Manage regional support team administratively to ensure they are always operationally ready
• Recruit and manage outsourced resources required for projects and operation
• Ability to identify and develop key talents and resources and deploy them in the right areas for operation
• Finance Management 
• Responsible for yearly business plan 
• Manage and control actual expenses to ensure healthy P&L
• Manage forecasts and variations in Business plan

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with experience in IT Management/Leadership or Degree in Information Technology
• 15+ years’ experience in managing IT Services and operation
• Sound Business acumen, strong Organisational skills and Customer focus 
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness in a Japanese environment
• Experience in people management role, passionate to build and develop high performing teams 
• A self-starter who takes initiatives, ownership and demonstrates leadership qualities 
• Professional communication skills in English and Mandarin 
• Persistent in the face of obstacles and results-driven in a fast pace environment 
• Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams 
• Team builder and strong in communication
• Good character traits and possess integrity 
• Strong accountability and ownership mentality
