JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose
Champions the people's agenda and is responsible for achieving business goals by aligning HR priorities with those of the business. Leads the development and execution of people strategies to maximize people effectiveness within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a strategic counsel to business leaders on the people's matters, champions the people's agenda in all business plans and strikes a balance between achieving superior employee engagement levels and facilitating a high-performance culture
- Formulates and implements HR strategies, policies and practices that are relevant to the entire employment life cycle including but not limited to talent sourcing, rewards and performance, talent management, learning & development, succession planning, and employee and industrial relations to enable achievement of business goals.
- Oversees day-to-day operations of HR functions, ensures smooth operations by establishing and monitoring key performance metrics and holds the team accountable for achieving expected performance levels.
- Consistently engages with internal stakeholders to understand the organizational needs and makes relevant revisions to HR strategies, team structure, policies and processes to maximize HR effectiveness
- Reviews organizational capability requirements against business requirements to develop relevant people interventions and bridge capability gaps.
- Reviews human capital utilization/efficiency across the business, and takes actions to improve utilization/efficiency through effective partnerships with business leaders.
- Acts as a change agent to support business transformation efforts through the development and execution of change/transformation plans
- Continually stays abreast and maintains up-to-date knowledge relating to relevant HR best practices in the market to ensure people practices within the organization remain relevant
