JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the sales team’s profitability, performance, productivity and achievement of objectives
- Coordinate sales activities to ensure maximum/optimum customer coverage & penetration in key projects and territory
- Good understanding of the energy segment, the company's business model, and the ability to work in a matrix organization
- Being an excellent people manager who inspires and coaches team members to ensure the company's sales and profit objectives are achieved
- Sets targets, conducts performance reviews and coaches the sales team to achieve their targets.
- Understands the market & industry trends, competition activities, product pricing and anticipate obstacles and prepare for contingencies
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural disciplines
- Proven Industry experience & networks in the Energy/ Oil & Gas sector
- Demonstrable Sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships and effectively implement strategic concepts
- Previous leadership experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Negotiation skills & senior stakeholder management experience
- Ability to navigate in a matrix environment
- Passion for people and team development
- Communication skills at all levels
