Summary

The role will report to the Director, Strategic Planning and Business Support, and lead the IT department supporting business operations in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

IT function/scope includes (but is not limited to) IT Infrastructure, IT Support, IT Applications including GBS/SAP B1, Data Analytics and Business Partnering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align the IT Strategies to overall Company’s business objectives and ensure that it evolves to meet the changing needs of the organization and its business units, such as but not limited to:
• Establish the organization’s technology vision, strategies and plans for growth
• Good strategic planning skills and ability to balance between technical or technology direction or limitation and the business requirement or expectation
• Responsible for ensuring that automation is at the core of cloud infrastructure operations. Drive a strategy to automate cloud infra-operations from technical platforms and organizational changes to processes targeting cost savings, while ensuring the delivery of stable cloud infrastructure.
• Establish policies, standards, procedures, processes and risk management for the use of IT within the organization and monitor compliance
• In charge of all company technology, and technological resources, such as but not limited to: 
• Application Systems and its IT infrastructure including server computing, cloud computing, LAN & WAN network, security, etc;
• Studying current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development
• Studying information processing systems to evaluate their effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
• Evaluate potential new IT systems across the organization and prepare and present the business case, which should include a return on investment analysis
• Establish IT support policies, procedures and processes to provide technical support across the organization, such as but not limited to:
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
• Providing user training, etc.
• Manage IT-related risks by developing and supporting an IT disaster recovery plan, implementing IT security and data protection policies, and implementing IT security standards and technologies advised by management
• Develop, manage and track the department’s budgeting and forecasting
• Align the direction and projects of IT with the planned development at Swagelok Corporate for global or regional rollout.

• Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree
• Minimum 10 years of IT management experience
• Strong knowledge in IT/Computer/Business – Networking, Software, Application, or equivalent
