JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

The Expense Compliance (EC) team is responsible for ensuring Expense Policy compliance and proper internal controls through the auditing and analysis of various expense claims. The team works using various auditing tools and techniques across multiple expense platforms. The EC team also help manage the Firm’s corporate card process including application, delinquency monitoring, and reconciliations. As a member of our EC team, you will have the opportunity to interact with many groups across the global network to conduct daily job requirements such as:

  • Review business expenses submitted for compliance with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Process corporate card applications/cancellations and follow up on delinquent accounts
  • Work with staff at all levels to resolve expense, policy, and corporate card queries
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Firm expense policy and employ advanced auditing techniques to identify items that are out of compliance and/or fraudulent in nature
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
  • Work on special projects to improve service delivery quality and/or operational effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of business applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team 
  • Must clearly understand how to handle confidential information
  • Ability to quickly understand and learn new skills and technologies
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
