JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Achieve production, downtime and quality targets.
- Maintain a high standard of safety, health, and environment at the workplace with compliance with all statutory requirements and company regulations.
- Control of plant overall expenses including overheads, raw materials, maintenance, process materials and packaging cost.
- Continue plant improvements in terms of cost reduction, process method rejects and downtime reduction
- Coordination and meeting between various departments on day-to-day activities.
- Establish company policies and procedures, conduct staff training, performance review and motivation.
- To outline and propose plant budgets and targets for production, maintenance, quality, safety etc.
- Manage and supervise the implementation of quality systems including the ISO9001 and product certification by SIRIM.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 10 years of working experience in a highly automated plant.
- At least 5 years in a managerial position.
