JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- As the key data partner for Retail Stores, Real Estate, E-commerce, Communication, identify, prioritize and formalize the business opportunities to generate added value thanks to data analysis;
- Lead the development and deployment of data products with good coding quality;
- Support for preparing the holistic data framework and organize the data needs for the company;
- Support through data the preparation of a Development Vision Framework for the company;
- Understand business stakeholders’ needs through strong collaborative relationships and execute analyses to provide actionable insights for the relevant teams;
- Constantly measure the results of recommended actions so as to drive continuous improvement;
- Lead the project to select and set up the most relevant BI and Data visualization platforms for Malaysia (example: Google Datastudio, Amazon Quicksight, Superset or others);
- Work with external organization to analyze data such as (IP data, traffic flow, density mapping etc) to support preparation of business development strategies;
- Connect closely to our client’s global community of data teams, to ensure we apply the group’s latest best practices and proactively maintain skills up to the highest standards of the community.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze data, then present findings in a synthetic manner to various stakeholders;
- Autonomous on common data programming languages (SQL, Python, R);
- Autonomous to work with both relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, ELK)
- Experience linking multiple DATA platforms and data visualization;
- Familiar with automation of data exchange (ETL/TalenD, Jenkins jobs, S3 storage);
- Experienced with at least 1 BI and data-viz tool (Datastudio, Amazon Quicksight, Qlick, Tableau or others);
