JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
The Senior Delivery Manager will be directly responsible for all service delivery to clients in the region, with combined responsibilities in business delivery, business development and people management. Will work across functions and territories to drive business execution and develop robust relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Consultants, Project Managers and Service Managers on IT projects for clients in the Oil & Gas Industry;
- Act as a trusted adviser for clients at (senior) management level;
- Accountable for all the deliveries (contract fulfilment) within the assigned customer scope.
- Responsible for mobilizing the Delivery Teams from Service Lines for customer sales, delivery, and contract fulfilment.
- Accountable for managing the Delivery Teams (including employee performance management in projects and services).
- Responsible for follow-up on customer payments of invoices.
- Work closely together with the Sales Team to drive the business expansion in the region.
- In the Project Management process, the Delivery Manager
- Initiates the project with a Project directive and appoints and supports the
- Project manager by active commitment in the projects.
- Is responsible that a risky and/or deviating project gets reported.
- Is responsible for updating the project directive during the project’s life cycle.
- Ensures that the Business case model for the delivery is also updated every time there are changes approved to the budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree;
- 12+ years of experience in IT Consultancy and Project Management, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry (Upstream and/or Midstream);
- Experience in working in an international working environment with a Strong system integration experience. Track record in Solution Delivery;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Proactive, independent, and hands-on attitude;
- Leadership ability, with excellent capability to work effectively with different stakeholders, both internal and especially external;
- Excellent communicator, able to drive change management process.
